A completely new and innovative patented product that consists of a polished concrete floor panel system designed to be fully bonded onto a new or retrofit construction projects. This attractive, real concrete finish shows the irregularities and characteristics of a typical polished concrete floor. Concreate® floor panels are engineered to an exceptionally high standard and are available in three natural colours of concrete and a real oak panel.

Concreate floor panels are ready for installation straight out-of-the-box. They are incredibly durable on the surface and have a soft texture underfoot. Fire and water resistant Concreate also has excellent built-in acoustic properties and excellent thermal properties storing passive heat during the winter as well as efficiently transmitting under-floor heating into a room.

The mineral composition and lightweight composition of the floor panels makes quick and easy to install and environmentally sound to produce and recycle.

Designed for installation in domestic and commercial interiors, the subtle clean lines of the micro beveled panels compliment most modern living areas from kitchen diners and living rooms, to bedrooms and bathrooms. It is a very contemporary finish, but also has a timeless appeal.

Installation

Concreate can be installed on most sub floors, including suspended wood floors. It is a concrete surface which can be installed as quickly as laminate flooring, and as there is no grout or polishing needed, no follow up work is required. Installation is dust free, and the floor can be walked on straight away.

Concreate ranges include –

Natural Grey Floor Panel – The mottled mid grey tones of this floor form the signature natural grey colour of Concreate. Panels are machined from pressed sheets of air cured, poured concrete – each deliberately rough handled to add industrial marks, blemishes, scratches and dents which enhance the industrial aesthetic unique to Concreate. A bevelled edge is added to the fibre reinforced top layer which is bonded to an ultra-hard but lightweight, tongue and grooved mineral cement base layer. The tactile surface is then sealed with 3 breathable coats of high solid Danish oil to create a durable and stain resistant polished concrete floor ready to install on any flat and stable subfloor with a minimum of preparation.

Dark Grey Floor Panel – The surface is stained to a rich dark grey with earthy tones which enhance the natural patina of the air cured concrete. Panels are machined from pressed sheets of air cured, poured concrete – each deliberately rough handled to add industrial marks, blemishes, scratches and dents which enhance the industrial aesthetic unique to Concreate. A bevelled edge is added to the fibre reinforced top layer which is bonded to an ultra-hard but lightweight, tongue and grooved mineral cement base layer. The tactile surface is then sealed with 3 breathable coats of high solid Danish oil to create a durable and stain resistant polished concrete floor ready to install on any flat and stable subfloor with a minimum of preparation.

Mineral White Floor Panel – A white mineral additive gives this floor a creamy white limestone colour whilst impurities rise to the surface with dark blemishes and random bleeds of oxide rust. Panels are machined from pressed sheets of air cured, poured concrete – each deliberately rough handled to add industrial marks, scratches and dents which enhance the industrial aesthetic unique to Concreate. A bevelled edge is added to the fibre reinforced top layer which is bonded to an ultra hard but lightweight, tongue and grooved mineral cement base layer. The tactile surface is then sealed with 3 breathable coats of high solid Danish oil to create a durable and stain resistant polished concrete floor ready to install on any flat and stable subfloor with a minimum of preparation.

Smoke White Oak Floor Panel – A European oak top layer is bonded to the same mineral cement base used for all the Concreate floor panels. This allows for combination floors ideal for modern open plan living where living areas can be divided by surfaces rather than physical barriers. With normal wood flooring system there must be an expansion gap wherever the wood meets an immovable obstruction such as a ceramic tiled floor. However with Concreate’s innovative new system there is no need for this gap. As a stand-alone wood floor it is perfect for underfloor heating. The panels are finished with three coats of Smoke white high solid Danish oil to match the rest of the range.
